The need for a full hull survey requires the Leicester Trader Barge be in dry dock and empty of contents to ensure full access, not an easy task by any measure. We have been fortunate to have the opportunity to do this before Monday 31st March when the barge will be lifted from the River Trent and placed on blocks for the survey booked later after jet-washing and final preparation for the survey.To this end a work party of volunteers assembled on Saturday morning the 29th March to do just that!
